Edward Michaels Trio feat Lori Malvey is: We want to show our appreciation to our guest guitarist, Santo(Sandy) Renda on our EP album Hook, Line, and Sinker. The Edward Michaels Trio feat. Lori Malvey is dedicated to playing music that represents the 1940's thru the 1960's eras. We want to keep alive the jazz and pop sounds of artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and today's current artists like Michael Buble, Harry Connick Jr. and Diana Krall. We like to take current music and style it to our genre of playing. Edward Michaels on piano has performed with famous bassists Dom Cinderella, and Ben Tucker. Michaels also performed on cable television shows with Frankie Lane and Steve Ames. Tony Orlando and Jack Albertson also are credited in his career. Ron Naspo on bass has performed with celebrity artists such as Sonny Rollins, Stan Kenton, Bucky Pizzarelli, Johnny Hartman, Wild Bill Davison, and Billy Maxted. Bob Nitkin on drums was a judge for the annual Guitar Center Drum Off and is a member of the Garfield Cadets Alumni Corps. Bob is endorsed by the DC California Soultone Cymbals. He also worked with the late great Joe Morello, and the big band "Moonlight on the Poconos". Lori Malvey has performed with jazz bands such as "Jasmine" and "Lines". Lori is very diversified and worked in pop and rock groups in her earlier years. Lori is also a singer-songwriter and has her own CD releases out.
