Connie Mims --CONNIE MIMS began her musical career in Houston in 1973 as a part of the acoustic group WHEATFIELD which evolved into the pop-rock band ST. ELMO'S FIRE, performing everywhere from the Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin, Texas to The Troubadour in Los Angeles. WHEATFIELD was one of the first bands to appear on the PBS TV series "Austin City Limits". During the seventies, the group also wrote, performed and toured two original rock ballets with the Houston, Chicago, Dallas and Fort Worth ballet companies. Read more. |

Ayo Awe Joseph --Ayo studied the rudiments of music at the Nigerian army school of music in 1987, and was posted to 82 nd Division Band of the Nigerian Army as a trombonist with exceptional skills on the trombone. Ayo Awe Joseph later resigned from the Army in September 1992 out of the desire to make his music more purposeful. Ayo Awe Joseph is a founding member of Brass Serpent , [Now apostles]a pioneering band for social activities within the church community " RCCG FREEDOM HALL" in 1994/95. He later formed his own band Jazz Epistle in 1999 with Steve Ebhodaighe as pianist and his younger brother Davidson on drums. Read more
